This product is a 19-port internal directional MIMO antenna assembly developed for high-performance WiFi access point applications. It is designed to support multi-band wireless systems, including 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequency bands, making it suitable for advanced AP platforms such as WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 devices.
Unlike a single internal antenna, this product is a complete antenna assembly that integrates multiple RF ports, stamped metal or PCB antenna elements, metal grounding / reflector structures, coaxial cables, and IPEX connectors. The integrated design helps simplify internal installation while supporting the RF requirements of multi-port MIMO AP systems.
Multi-Port Design for AP MIMO Systems
Modern wireless APs often require multiple antenna ports to support MIMO operation, multi-band communication, and stable wireless coverage. This 19-port antenna assembly is designed for AP platforms that require several independent RF channels within a limited internal space.
The antenna can support different port configurations for 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. Each port can be optimized according to the required frequency range, antenna position, cable routing, connector type, and RF performance target.
Typical design considerations include:
- 2.4GHz / 5GHz / 6GHz frequency coverage
- Multi-port MIMO antenna layout
- Directional radiation performance
- Port-to-port isolation
- VSWR optimization
- Antenna efficiency and gain
- Radiation pattern consistency
- Cable length and IPEX connector configuration
Designed for Directional AP Applications
For directional AP devices, antenna performance is closely related to the internal mechanical design of the complete product. The antenna does not work independently from the AP structure. The plastic housing, metal frame, PCB position, shielding parts, screw posts, reflector area, and installation direction can all affect the final RF performance.
This type of internal directional antenna needs to guide RF energy toward the target coverage area while reducing unnecessary radiation in other directions. Therefore, the antenna elements, metal reflector structure, grounding area, and internal mounting position must be carefully designed and tested together with the customer’s AP device.
Customized According to Customer Device Structure
This product is shown as a reference design rather than a universal standard antenna. For most directional AP projects, the antenna must be customized according to the customer’s product mold, internal layout, RF board, electrical specifications, and target coverage requirements.
Even when the required frequency bands are similar, the antenna structure may need to be redesigned if the AP housing, PCB layout, metal parts, or installation method changes. Our engineering team can support antenna structure design, RF matching, sample development, testing, and production optimization according to the actual device.
