5-Port Multi-Band Internal Antenna Assembly for Wireless APs
This product is a 5-port multi-band internal antenna assembly developed for wireless APs, routers, CPE devices, gateways, and other wireless communication terminals. It supports multiple frequency ranges, including 2450-2530MHz, 2550-2650MHz, and 5150-5925MHz, making it suitable for project-specific 2.4GHz, 2.6GHz, and 5GHz wireless applications.
Unlike a single standard antenna, this product is designed as an integrated antenna assembly. It can combine multiple antenna ports, metal structures, terminal connections, and customized mounting features into one compact internal solution. The antenna is built with Aluminum 1060 material and is designed for stable performance within the operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.
Multi-Port Design for Wireless Devices
The 5-port structure allows the antenna assembly to support multiple RF channels within a limited internal space. This makes it suitable for wireless devices that require multi-band operation, separate RF paths, MIMO-related layouts, or customized internal antenna distribution.
Each port can be optimized according to the required frequency range, position inside the device, grounding condition, PCB layout, and RF performance target. The antenna system can be adjusted to meet requirements for impedance, VSWR, efficiency, gain, isolation, and radiation performance.
Frequency and Electrical Performance
According to the reference specification, this antenna assembly supports:
- 2450-2530MHz with VSWR ≤ 2.0
- 2550-2650MHz with VSWR ≤ 2.0
- 5150-5925MHz with VSWR ≤ 1.8
- 50Ω characteristic impedance
- Operating temperature from -40°C to +70°C
The actual gain, radiation pattern, efficiency, and port-to-port isolation can be optimized according to the customer’s device structure and project requirements.
Customized According to Device Structure
Internal AP antennas are highly dependent on the complete product structure. The housing material, internal space, PCB position, metal frame, grounding area, screw posts, shielding components, and installation method can all affect antenna performance.
For this reason, this product is presented as a reference design rather than a universal standard antenna. The final antenna structure can be customized according to the customer’s device mold, PCB layout, frequency requirements, connector type, and electrical performance targets.
